What happens in a Common Ground Session?
We spend roughly two hours together — in person in Ipoh or via video if that suits you better. You talk about where your business is and what is on your mind. I listen, ask questions, and we map out a handful of priorities that actually make sense for your situation. You leave with a short written summary and a list of next steps that are yours to act on — or not.
I've spoken to consultants before and felt pushed. Will this be different?
That concern is something we hear often, and it is a reasonable one. At Sinar, there is no follow-up sales call, no package upgrade pitch, and no recommendation designed to generate more work for us. Each engagement is complete on its own terms. If further support makes sense for you, we'll say so — but the decision is entirely yours.
Is the Level Review suitable if my business is doing reasonably well?
Yes, often more so. Owners who are managing well sometimes benefit most from a structured outside view — not because something is wrong, but because having someone look evenly across the whole picture can surface things that are easy to miss when you are inside it. The Level Review is not a crisis tool; it is a calibration exercise.
How is Standing Together different from hiring a part-time manager?

Are prices fixed or negotiable?
The listed prices are set and reflect the time and preparation involved. If the scope of what you need is genuinely different from what is described, we are happy to discuss what would actually fit your situation before any commitment is made.
Do you work with businesses outside Ipoh?
Yes. We are based in Ipoh and meet in person with owners in Perak when that is convenient. For owners elsewhere in Malaysia, sessions can be conducted via video call. The quality of the work does not depend on physical proximity.
